TwistScript is a free platform for interactive stories - play them solo or with friends, or tell one yourself for a small group. The Worlds and Tales you play come from a curated library crafted by the TwistScript team. No ads, ever.
Start without an account
The fastest way in is Play mode - TwistScript tells you an interactive story. No signup, no rules, no experience needed. Finish stories and you earn XP, badges, and a daily streak even as a guest - and when you create a free account, all of it (and your stories) comes with you.

Sign up with your email address or continue with Google. Once you're in, head to Settings to set up your profile:
- Username - your unique handle on the platform. This appears in your profile URL and alongside the stories you play.
- Display name - the name shown on your profile and alongside the stories you play.
- Bio - a short description of who you are.
Pick a World and a Tale
A World is a setting - its places, its people, its secrets - crafted by the TwistScript team. A Tale is a playable story arc set inside a World, with an ending to reach. Browse the library from Play and pick whatever calls to you. Every World and Tale is rated General (all ages) or Teen (mild violence and themes), so you always know what you're stepping into.
Earn XP and keep a streak
Finishing stories earns XP, levels, badges, and a daily streak. If you played as a guest first, all of it comes with you when you create an account, so nothing you've earned is lost.
Become a supporter
Playing and reading are always free. A supporter membership helps keep TwistScript running and unlocks extras for play: Storyteller narration voices, ambient soundtracks, AI play assists, AI character art and backstory, and character progression. No ads, no data selling.
